Then, there’s EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival), which turns the Las Vegas Motor Speedway into an all-night rave with mind-blowing visuals and some of the biggest DJs on the planet. And if you’re into rodeo vibes, there’s the annual Helldorado Days with parades and plenty of good ol’ Western spirit.

The last time I checked, Vegas boasted a population of around 650,000 in the city limits, and the larger metro area is well over 2 million. It’s crazy how we keep on growing—kind of like a desert flower that refuses to quit. That growing population means an ever-expanding food scene, more diverse cultural events, and new neighborhoods sprouting up left and right. We celebrate any reason to gather, whether it’s the Chinese New Year parade in Downtown, the Fiesta Las Vegas Latino Parade, or those local art festivals popping up every few months.

If you’re a local, you learn to embrace the chaos: 24-hour grocery stores (because who knows when you’ll need ice cream at 3 AM), random Elvis sightings, and of course, those late-night diners that keep the bacon and eggs coming all night.
